National Honor Society
Congratulations to all of our new members.  Any new NHS member who has not received their certificate of membership should see Mr. Walker at their convenience to get it.

Speech and Debate Club
Any students interested in learning public speaking and debating skills are invited to join the Speech and Debate Club for their first meeting on Tuesday, October 6th, at 11:50 (2nd lunch) in Room 101. 

AOC Bible Club
Toss your lunch and your Bible in your backpack on Thursdays and join in the Bible Club discussions during first or second lunch (at 11 or 11:50 AM).  Everyone is welcome, including  inquiring minds.  See Mr. Labus or Mrs. Newman for more details.

Improv Club
Have you ever watched "Whose Line is it Anyway?"  Do you enjoy improv acting?  Then come join the Improv Club in Room 102 on Wednesday, from 11:00 -11.35 to participate in fun activities.  No acting experience needed!!

Anime/Video Game Club
The Anime/Video Club will meet on Fridays at 11:00 in Room 106. 

Knitting Club
The AOC Knitting and Crocheting Club will have its first meeting Friday, October 9th, from 11:20-12:20, in room 108.  We will then meet every Friday that is a Monday schedule.  Please check out the AOC Knitting and Crocheting Club webpage for project information or see Ms. Engerran.  Beginners welcome.

Karma Club
The Karma Club would like to invite all students and staff to join us during the month of October in reading An Ordinary Man, the autobiography of Paul Rusasabagina (pronounced Roos-as-ab-o-geena) whose personal story served as the premise for the movie Hotel Rwanda.  This amazing story recounts the events of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, and one mans efforts to save thousands from being massacred.  We will meet this Thursday, during both lunch periods, to discuss the first three chapters of this book, and will meet every week during October to discuss additional chapters.  Bring your lunch and join us for the discussion.

COC Writers’ Society
The AOC Writers’ Society will meet on Thursdays at 11:50, in Room 104.  Please see Ms. Heath for details.
