A LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Your Library is a quiet place to study, read, and do homework.

No food, drinks, phones, games, or listening devices.

Admittance: During class time, students are admitted with a hall pass from the teacher.

No pass is required before school, during lunch or brunch, or after school.

CIRCULATION PROCEDURES

    • Student identification card is required to check out.
    • Students may check out up to three items at a time.
    • Books are checked out for 3 weeks.
    • Magazines are due back the next school day.
    • If not renewed or returned by due date: 10 cents per school day will be charged.
    • You can renew a book on or before the due date if no one is waiting for the book. Identification card is required to renew.
    • Books are returned in the drop box next to the library entrance or at the library counter.
    • If you have an overdue item you cannot check out another book or magazine

WORKSTATION GUIDELINES:

Computers are for schoolwork only.

    • Students need to ask for permission.
    • Student id required and displayed so that student photo and name are visible.
    • Workstations are available on first come, first served basis.
    • Use is limited to 30 minutes if others are waiting.
    • Not allowed : interactive games, chat rooms or e-mail (unless school assignment), and dating or social websites.
    • No copying of copyrighted material.
