R.O.P. has some awesome classes this summer. stop by the r.o.p. office in the career center to pick up a summer schedule of classes.

 

 

Seniors: All library books and textbooks must be returned, and any outstanding fines paid by Monday June 2nd in order to receive your diploma at graduation.

 

Grad Night – Have you seen the MTV show The Hills lately?!? Well, the past 4 episodes have included shots of our very own Grad Night location, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Tickets are only $75 and the night promises to be a memorable event with a possible celebrity guest. Who could it be?!? Guess, you'll have to go and find out - Friday 5/30, 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

 

Seniors: Reminder to return your Senior Agreement to Mrs. Saxton in the Assistant Principal’s office.  If you have lost your agreement, pick up another one in the Assistant Principals office.  A signed agreement is necessary to receive your cap and gown on June 3rd.

 

5th Summer Meltdown Concert Saturday May 10th at Golden Valley H.S. hosted by Yes I Can.  Nearly a dozen bands will take the stage between 2:30 p.m.  Admission is $10.00 and tickets can be purchased in Mr. Pepo’s room, L1205, at lunch and brunch.  Ticket price will increase to $20.00 the day of the event.

 

Prom – May 16th at the Reagan Library – Air Force One Exhibit.  Prom is only 9 days away and the spaces are filling up. If you haven't bought your dress or tux yet that's okay, but we suggest you get your tickets before they sell out. Tickets can be purchased at the ASB Office at brunch or lunch or online at www.saugusasb.com.

Senior Yearbook Party – Monday May 19th on the outside basketball courts from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.  Don't forget to bring your favorite pen to sign all of your friends’ yearbooks. Food and drinks will be provided and the senior slide show will also play at the conclusion of the event.

 

Would you like to play golf next year?  If you are interested-might be interested-or possibly could be interested in playing golf next year, stop by Q1706 and talk with Mr. Stradling.  For girls, we are adding a JV team this year and are in need of new golfers.  Golf looks good on your college transcripts!

 

Lost your ID?!?  Well, you better find it before May 20th as you will need it to pick up your yearbook.  Pre-paid distribution in the gym at lunch.  Yearbook purchases – same date and time outside the gym (boys’ locker room side) – first come, first served - $100.00 CASH ONLY.

CAPR Awards – Centurion Academy of Pupil Recognition will be held Tuesday 5/20/08 at 6:00pm in the amphitheater.  Attendance is by invitation only.

 

Win a Nissan Versa!   Hart District high school students (excluding Freshmen) that meet certain eligibility requirements will be entered in a drawing to be held at Valencia High School on May 10th to win a brand new Nissan.  Some of the eligibility requirements include full time student status, 97% or higher attendance from 8/20/07 through 3rd quarter 2008, and a B average or greater through the same period.  Remember: The first 900 registrants will receive a prize, prizes will be awarded throughout the morning, leading up to the grand prize drawing, the full line-up of Nissans will be on display for visitors to take a look at, NO REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE EVENT.  All entrants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent.

 

SAMMY nominees:  There is a mandatory meeting for all nominees at lunch today in room A-102. If you can't make the meeting for any reason please see coach Miner in A-109 to get all the information and paperwork.

How about a great volunteer experience for your resume?  Mountainview Elementary School is in need of volunteers to help with their summer school.  If you would be interested in helping out, please see Mrs. Blok in the Guidance Office right away.
