SANTA CLARITA, Calif – The William S. Hart Union High School District is excited to announce that Brennan Leem, a 2024 West Ranch High School graduate, has been awarded a National Merit Scholarship.
The National Merit Scholarship Program is a highly competitive college scholarship program that honors the nation's most promising students. Finalists meet rigorous requirements including exceptional PSAT/NMSQT® scores, a strong academic record, a recommendation from a high school official, an essay, and information about their extracurricular activities and community involvement.
Scholarship winners are the candidates judged to have the strongest combination of academic skills and achievements, extracurricular accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
