School Policies
Our students have the unique opportunity to participate in courses and programs on the Castaic High School comprehensive campus (high school students only). Students are usually encouraged to enroll in courses of interest.
In order to participate in the dual enrollment program, students MUST meet the following criteria:
- Maintain a positive attendance level at 75% or better.
- Maintain a grade of a C or better in all courses at the Semester report period.
- Have no major discipline problems.
In all cases, an IEP must be held with the appropriate team members from Castaic High School. The team must agree to the placement.
Work Experience
Work experience is 30 hours and 3 assignments =1 credit. To earn credit for work experience, students need to complete classwork and turn in work hours/paycheck stubs. Student must have good academic standing to participate.
SOAR
Students Off And Running (SOAR) dedicates itself to offering Santa Clarita Valley youth the opportunity to participate in a fully supported, 24 week 380 mile marathon training program while challenging themselves to accomplish something truly extraordinary in a non-competitive arena.
Sequoia students and staff have the unique opportunity to become a part of the SOAR running team with Coach Sarkissian.

Transcript Request
For Current Seniors:
Transcripts are free, however students are responsible to mail them directly to the requested schools. Upon completion of all graduation requirements, we will send one Final Official Transcript to the school / employer of your choice by July 1st of the current school year, at no cost.

After July 1st all students will be charged a $3.00 fee for each transcript requested.
For Former Students:
All transcripts issued must be Official Transcripts and there is a $3.00 fee for each transcript requested. All requests for Official Transcripts must be submitted in writing by mail, email, fax, or in person. The Registrar’s Office can only accept cash or check. Checks must be payable to Castaic High School.
